Stiearc Systems Pty Ltd designs software solutions for Police Force use. Since 1995 we have had an active interest in exhibit management and evidence handling protocol. In 1997, the crime squads unit of the Victoria Police, Australia implemented a version of trackdown Exhibits (previously named trackdown PETS). This software was designed to enforce consistent and accountable evidence handling techniques. Later, the Victoria Police Forensic Services Division implemented a Forensic Case Management system in 2003 incorporating trackdown Exhibits at the heart of the design.
